... the burial place of 150 personalities of the Habsburg family, including 12 emperors and 17 empresses.
It is a place steeped in history, where much can be told about touching fates, peculiar burial rites and about the Austrian monarchy.
Maria Theresa and many of her children rest here, as do Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth (known as “Sisi”), and the last empress of Austria, Zita of Bourbon-Parma.
